In the 2018 Father Christmas letter, Santa pays homage to the animals of the Magic Hedgerow who helped saved Christmas last year. When a small hole in his sack threatened to ruin Christmas, it was these animals who came to the rescue, scooping up presents and returning them to Father Christmas so that they could magically appear in stockings all around the world on Christmas morning.
Letters are signed by Father Christmas, then hand-addressed, stamped, and franked by the elves. The finishing touch is added when the elves emboss the letter with the one word that every child wants to hear in the build-up to Christmas – that they have been NICE.
